Location
Bunsty B&B, is situated on the North Bucks border equi-distant between Northampton, Milton Keynes and Bedford. The property is ideally situated, being 8 miles (12-15 min drive) to Milton Keynes, 11 miles to Silverstone (30-35 min drive), 11 miles to Northampton and 13 miles to Bedford or Milton Earnest.
We are a 1.7 miles from Hanslope Park and a short drive from Milton Keynes where trains to London take approximately 34 minutes. We are in easy reach of Silverstone, the Snow Dome and MK Dons in Milton Keynes and Keysoe International Equestrian Centre in Bedfordshire, the Saints Rugby Club in Northampton and Santa Pod Raceway.
We are part of the Gate Group of villages which each have friendly pubs with good beer gardens and great food. A mile away is Stoke Goldington, with

The White Hart. All serve delicious food, with nice wine and great ale and always have a warm fire or pretty beer gardens for the summer.
Olney
3.5 miles away sits the beautiful market town in Buckinghamshire is alive with delicious pubs and restaurants and independent shops down a pretty high street. Home of the hymn Amazing Grace, Olney also boasts the first ever pancake race on Shrove Tuesday in 1447. This continues to be celebrated with an annual pancake race each February on Shrove Tuesday.
Our personal recommendations are The Cherry Tree, The Tea Rooms, The Bull, Olney Pancake Parlour, Maya Indian Restaurant or Gabriellas to name a few. We are spoilt for choice as Olney is the home of many delicious restaurants, coffee shops and pubs as well as clothes shops, gift shops, hair dressers and the hardware shop. Practical amenities also include a Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Co-op.
Olney sits next to the Great River Ouse with beautiful and easy walks winding down to the river or up to the top of the valley leading to beautiful views of the historic town and surrounding villages.

Newport Pagnell
3.4 miles away from Bunsty B&B is the historic town of Newport Pagnell, home to Aston Martin cars. First mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086 as Neuport, Old English for 'New Market Town’, Newport sits outside Milton Keynes and hosts a pretty high street with a number of shops, a Co-op, pubs and restaurants. Personal favourites are the Pen Petch Thai restaurant and the Big Burger bar.

Milton Keynes
What was once Europes largest indoor shopping mall, Milton Keynes hosts a wide range of shops from John Lewis to Zara, Hollister, Waterstones and a range of cinemas and things to do. Milton Keynes has over 8000 acres of parkland including the largest aqua park in the UK on Willen Lake. Tree Top Extreme, Archery, Boat Hire and other sports are also readily available in Milton Keynes as is the infamous SnowDome situated in Escape which offers both skiing, snowboarding and tobogganing activities. The Escape also offers restaurants and cinemas as well as ski-diving, bowling, climbing and trampoline parks and a short walk away is the Milton Keynes Theatre District and Art Gallery.

Walks from the House
We are very lucky to live on the edge of a footpath. Walkers can easily walk from here to Salcey Forest, Ravenstone, Western Underwood or Olney. The Swans Way is just on the otherwise of the river but either way we can promise you fabulous views.
Equestrian Facilities ( COMING SOON )
We do have 5 acres of well fenced paddocks which are available for those who wish to bring a horse. Horses which are ridden and placed in the fields are entirely at the owners own risk. Please enquire for more information.
